Employment of Consultants In order to assist the Borrower in carrying out the Project, the Borrower shall employ consultants whose qualifications, experience and terms and conditions of employment shall be satisfactory to the Association. Such consultants shall be selected in accordance with principles and procedures satisfactory to the Association on the basis of the "Guidelines for the Use of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers and by the World Bank as Executing Agency" published by the Bank in August 1981. Employment of Consultant CONSULTANT will perform as an independent contractor all services under this Contract to the prevailing professional standards consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of its profession, both public and private, currently practicing in the same locality under similar conditions, including reasonable, informed judgments and prompt, timely action. If CONSULTANT is representing that it has special expertise in one or more areas to be utilized in this Contract, then CONSULTANT agrees to perform those special expertise services to the appropriate local, regional or national professional standards.
Employment of Engineer ENGINEER will perform as an independent contractor all services under this Contract to the prevailing engineering professional standards consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of the engineering profession, both public and private, currently practicing in the same locality under similar conditions, including reasonable, informed judgments and prompt, timely actions. If ENGINEER is representing that it has special expertise in one or more areas to be utilized in this Contract, then ENGINEER agrees to perform those special expertise services to the appropriate local, regional or national professional engineering standards.
ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANT The Company hereby engages Consultant to ------------------------- assist the Company in programming services.
Sub-Consultants All sub-consultants shall comply with each and every insurance provision of this Section 3.2.10. Consultant shall therefore not allow any sub-consultant to commence work on any subcontract to perform any part of the Services until it has provided evidence satisfactory to the City that the sub-consultant has secured all insurance required under this Agreement.
Employment of Consultants Part A General Consultants’ services shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of the Introduction and Section IV of the “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers” published by the Bank in January 1997 and revised in September 1997 and January 1999 (the Consultant Guidelines) and the following provisions of Section II of this Schedule. SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.

Engagement of Employees 8.1.1 All prospective Employees may be required to complete an Application for Employment form prior to engagement. Applicants may be required to undertake a pre-employment physical/medical assessment, the cost of which will be borne by the Company. Any Employee who knowingly provides false information in their application or in the medical may be dismissed.
