Common use of Employment outside the Hotel Clause in Contracts

Employment outside the Hotel. A laid-off regular employee who has alternate employment outside the Hotel at the time of receipt of recall notice may, provided a mutual agreement is reached between the Director of Human Resources and the Local Chairperson, be relieved from reporting for work in their established position, for a period not exceeding thirty (30) calendar days and providing that a junior qualified laid-off regular employee is available at no additional cost to the Hotel.
