Employment Qualifications and Requirements. (a) Employment shall be conditional upon satisfactory completion of a medical examination by a physician appointed by the Employer and all personnel covered by this Agreement shall be required to receive immunization and booster series against poliomyelitis, tetanus, diphtheria and may also be required to receive a chest x ray or skin test at least annually. (b) It is agreed that where an employee’s physician certifies that reaction to immunization, vaccination or inoculation is such that the employee is unfit to work, the employee will be given leave without loss of pay to cover the period of medically verified disability up to a maximum of four (4) shifts.
