ENGAGEMENT OF THE PROVIDER The OAG engages the Provider to perform services as specified in this Agreement. All services are to be performed solely by the Provider and may not be subcontracted or assigned without prior written consent of the OAG. The consent of the OAG does not vest any rights in the subcontractor or create any obligation on behalf of the OAG to the subcontractor. All subcontract agreements will contain a disclosure to this effect. This Agreement will be performed in accordance with the rules implementing the provisions of VOCA, 34 U.S.C. § 20103, Crime Control and Law Enforcement, 28 C.F.R. §§ 94.101 through 94.122, the federal government-wide grant rules as set forth in 2 C.F.R. § 200, et. seq., and the U.S. Department of Justice, (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs, DOJ Grants Financial Guide, (Financial Guide), and any other regulations or guidelines currently or subsequently required by the U.S. Department of Justice and State or Federal laws.
Engagement of Services Company may issue Project Assignments to Contractor in the form attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A (Project Assignment). A Project Assignment will become binding when both parties have signed it and once signed, Contractor will be obligated to provide the services as specified in such Project Assignment. The terms of this Agreement will govern all Project Assignments and services undertaken by Contractor for Company.
Engagement of Contractor 1.01 The Authority hereby engages the Contractor and the Contractor agrees to perform the services as set forth in Exhibit A which is herein incorporated by reference.
ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANT The Company hereby engages Consultant to ------------------------- assist the Company in programming services.
Engagement The Company hereby engages the Consultant, and the Consultant accepts engagement by the Company, upon the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
Community Engagement Integration Activities The SP will support the HSP to engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals.
IRO Engagement 1. CHSI shall engage an IRO that possesses the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO shall conduct the review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph D. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.12 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by CHSI in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify CHSI if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, CHSI may continue to engage the IRO.
Engagement of Employees 8.1.1 All prospective Employees may be required to complete an Application for Employment form prior to engagement. Applicants may be required to undertake a pre-employment physical/medical assessment, the cost of which will be borne by the Company. Any Employee who knowingly provides false information in their application or in the medical may be dismissed.
Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.
Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.
