Engagement of Contractor. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, CDS engages Contractor to provide services specified in Section 1.2. Contractor hereby accepts this engagement by CDS with respect to such matters and for such compensation and terms as provided herein.
Engagement of Contractor. 1.01 The Authority hereby engages the Contractor and the Contractor agrees to perform the services as set forth in Exhibit A which is herein incorporated by reference.
Engagement of Contractor. 2.1 The Council engages the Contractor who accepts the engagement for the Term to perform the Services on the terms of this agreement.
2.2 The parties acknowledge that nothing in this agreement creates or infers a relationship between the parties of partnership or employer/employee.
Engagement of Contractor. SEPTA hereby engages Contractor to perform the services set forth in the Scope of Services and Contractor hereby commits to performing the services set forth in the Scope of Services for the fees set forth in Attachment 3.
Engagement of Contractor. 2.01 The County engages the Contractor and the Contractor agrees to faithfully and diligently perform the services according to the terms and conditions contained in this Contract and consistent with the applicable industry and professional standards.
Engagement of Contractor.
2.01 By this Contract, the City engages the Contractor and the Contractor hereby agrees to faithfully and diligently perform the Services set forth in Exhibit A, in accordance with the terms and con- ditions contained in this Contract.
2.02 The Contractor shall perform in a satisfactory manner as shall be determined within the sole and reasonable discretion of the City. In the event that there shall be any dispute between the parties with regard to the extent, character and progress of the Services to be performed or the quality of performance under this Contract, the interpretation and determination of the City shall govern.
2.03 The Contractor shall confer as necessary and cooperate with the City in order that the Services may proceed in an efficient and satisfactory manner. The Services are deemed to include all con- ferences, consultations and public hearings or appearances deemed necessary by the City to en- sure that the Contractor will be able to properly and fully perform the objectives as set forth in this Contract.
2.04 All Services are subject to review and approval of the City for completeness and fulfillment of the requirements of this Contract. Neither the City's review, approval nor payment for any of the Services shall be construed to operate as a waiver of any rights under this Contract, and the Con- tractor shall be and will remain liable in accordance with applicable law for all damages to the City caused by the Contractor's negligent performance or nonperformance of any of the Services furnished under this Contract.
2.05 The Services shall be performed as set forth in Exhibit A, or at such other locations as are deemed appropriate by the City and the Contractor for the proper performance of the Services.
2.06 The City and the Contractor expressly acknowledge their mutual understanding and agreement that there are no third party beneficiaries to this Contract and that this Contract shall not be con- strued to benefit any persons other than the City and the Contractor.
2.07 It is understood that this Contract is not an exclusive services contract, that during the term of this Contract the City may contract with other firms, and that the Contractor is free to render the same or similar services to other clients, provided the rendering of such services does not affect the Contractor’s obligations to the City in any way.
Engagement of Contractor. Contractor shall collaborate with the University’s Office of International Education in identifying and referring interested and qualified international students who wish to pursue a course of undergraduate or graduate study in one or more academic programs offered by the University. This is a nonexclusive agreement and the University may appoint other representatives for any country or area. Contractor may not recruit and will not be paid for recruiting any student who is eligible to receive U.S. federal financial aid under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. Contractor may only recruit foreign nationals abroad who are not U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents. All decisions regarding admission and conditional admission remain with the University.
Engagement of Contractor. The City hereby agrees to engage Contractor and Contractor hereby agrees to perform the services set forth in this Agreement. This Agreement shall be for an initial term from the execution date of the Agreement through June 30, 2026 and may be renewed for an additional two (2), one-year terms by mutual written consent of both parties. The City Manager shall have sole and exclusive right to exercise any options contained in this agreement on behalf of the City.
Engagement of Contractor. HNTB has contracted with Quest Corporation of America (“Client”) under a prime agreement (“Prime Agreement”), who in turn has contracted with the State of Florida, Department of Transportation (“Owner”) to provide certain services relating to the Statewide Communications and Workforce Development Consulting Services project (“Project”). HNTB hereby engages Contractor to perform or provide certain workforce development services (“Services”) on the Project, and Contractor hereby accepts such engagement by HNTB in return for the compensation set forth in this Agreement. For the purpose of this Agreement, the program (“Program”) refers to job readiness training of workers provided by Contractor as part of the Project. An employee (“Employee”) refers to a worker that is hired by Contractor under the Program. The HNTB project number for the Services is: 75687
Engagement of Contractor. The Company hereby engages Contractor, and Contractor hereby accepts and agrees to such engagement, upon the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement.
