Engineering Analysis and. GeoSyntec will perform required engineering analysis and design for the Z-wall retaining structure. The engineering analysis will include both geotechnical and structural calculations to design the Z-wall. We understand that electrical service to the recycling center is sufficient and have therefore assumed that no upgrades or revisions to the electrical service will be required. Assuming that the Z-wall will remain near its existing location, GeoSyntec proposes three geotechnical borings (varying between 30 0379 feet and 50 feet) to collect geotechnical information about the foundation conditions in the area and evaluate liquefaction potential if required. GeoSyntec will also complete some laboratory testing moisture, density, gradation, Atterberg limits) for design. If the soil conditions are similar to those in the proposed Hazmat building fill and peat overlying dense to hard soils), GeoSyntec will use the seismic information for the Hazmat building; if typical soils are encountered, GeoSyntec will follow the Uniform Building Code. GeoSyntec assumes that the borings will be surveyed by the County.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7.
