Programs will conduct an analysis to determine gaps in access to language services, and implement language access policies and procedures Programs may expand workforce within interpreter services by hiring, training, and/or certifying interpreters, or determining other methods for increasing patients‟ access to appropriate language services. Programs may include use of remote video and voice technology for instantaneous qualified health care interpretations Develop programs to improve staff cultural competence and awareness through evidence based training.
