Common use of Enrollment of Spouse/Domestic Partner Clause in Contracts

Enrollment of Spouse/Domestic Partner. An employee may enroll spouse or domestic partner in County medical and dental plans upon completion of the County’s Affidavit of Marriage or Domestic Partnership and applicable enrollment process. Enrollment times and other procedures for administration of the medical and dental benefit plans shall be applied to employees with domestic partners in the same manner as to married employees to the extent allowed by the law. A spouse or domestic partner must be enrolled in the same plan as the employee.
