Common use of Entrance Facilities Clause in Contracts

Entrance Facilities. LCT may elect to place LCT-owned or LCT-leased fiber entrance facilities into the Collocation Space. BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection in close proximity to the Premises building housing the Collocation Space, such as an entrance manhole or a cable vault which are physically accessible by both Parties. LCT will provide and place fiber cable at the point of entrance of sufficient length to be pulled through conduit and into the splice location. LCT will provide and install a sufficient length of fire retardant riser cable, to which the entrance cable will be spliced, which will extend from the splice location to LCT’s equipment in the Collocation Space. In the event LCT utilizes a non-metallic, riser- type entrance facility, a splice will not be required. LCT must contact BellSouth for instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable in the manhole. LCT is responsible for maintenance of the entrance facilities. At LCT’s option BellSouth will accommodate where technically feasible a microwave entrance facility pursuant to separately negotiated terms and conditions. In the case of adjacent collocation, unless BellSouth determines that limited space is available for the entrance facilities, copper facilities may be used between the adjacent collocation arrangement and the central office termination point.

BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection in close proximity to the Premises Central Office building housing the Collocation Space, such as an entrance manhole or a cable vault which are physically accessible by both Partiesparties. LCT Maxcess will provide and place fiber cable at the point of entrance interconnection of sufficient length to be pulled through conduit and into the splice location. LCT Maxcess will provide and install a sufficient length of fire retardant riser cable, to which the entrance cable will be spliced, which will extend from the splice location to LCT’s the Maxcess’ equipment in the Collocation Space. In the event LCT Maxcess utilizes a non-metallic, riser- riser-type entrance facility, a splice will not be required. LCT Maxcess must contact BellSouth for instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable in the manhole. LCT Maxcess is responsible for maintenance of the entrance facilities. At LCT’s facilities Maxcess‘ option BellSouth will accommodate where technically feasible a microwave entrance facility pursuant to separately negotiated terms and conditions.
