Manhole. The term “manhole” refers to an enclosure, usually below ground level and entered through a hole on the surface covered with a cast iron, cast aluminum, steel, or concrete manhole cover, which personnel may enter and use for the purpose of installing, operating, and maintaining facilities in ducts or conduits which are parts of SWBT’s conduit system. As used in this Agreement, the term “manhole” refers only to manhole structures owned or controlled by SWBT and does not include cables and other telecommunications equipment located within manhole structures.

Manhole. 0" - Frontier reserves the right to prohibit all equipment and facilities, other than cable, from its entrance manholes. No splicing will be permitted in Manhole "0", the Frontier Cable vault or any location other than the Space. Onvoy must provide a length of underground fiber optic cable in Manhole "0" specified by Frontier of sufficient length to be pulled through the Central Office conduit and the Central Office cable vault and into the Space, without the need for splicing. Onvoy is responsible for the placement of the fiber optic facility within Manhole "0", and all work performed in or near the Manhole must be done in accordance with EHS requirements, and Frontier’s policies as set forth in Frontier’s Safety Manual. This installation shall be coordinated with and inspected by Frontier. Onvoy shall be accompanied by a qualified Frontier representative in all Manhole locations at Onvoy's expense. Onvoy shall notify Frontier’s Network Operations Center of its intention to enter a Frontier Manhole “0” with no less than forty-eight (48) hours' advance notice informing Frontier of the Manhole “0” involved, the anticipated time and duration of entry and the names of entering employees. All maintenance work on Onvoy's fiber optic cables will be performed by Xxxxx and/or vendors employed by Onvoy at Xxxxx's expense. Ten (10) days prior to such maintenance, Onvoy shall provide Frontier notice that maintenance will occur and inform Frontier of the maintenance schedule.
Manhole. As used in this Appendix, the term “manhole” refers only to manhole structures owned or controlled by SBC MISSOURI and does not include cables and other telecommunications equipment located within manhole structures.
Manhole. A subsurface enclosure used for the purpose of installing, operating and maintaining facilities. As used in this Agreement, “Manhole” does not include a controlled environmental vault.

Manhole covers of sufficient size to loop feed the largest diameter cable through the manhole without splicing.
