Environmental and Ergonomic Health and Safety. A. The State agrees that it shall make a reasonable effort to assign Unit 19 employees to work sites with proper ventilation, lighting, heat and air conditioning. The Union recognizes that in some circumstances this may not be feasible, and agrees to work with the State on reasonable alternative measures during these circumstances. B. Upon request the State shall provide instruction in the proper operation and adjustment of computer and workstation equipment. Both parties will encourage employees to properly use computer equipment. Upon request, the State shall provide a copy of the Computer User's Handbook. C. On an individual case by case basis, as deemed necessary, the State shall take action to make equipment available to an employee who uses a computer. Such equipment may include but not be limited to: 1. Glare screens 2. Document holders 3. Adjustable keyboard, computer tables and supports 4. Foot rests and wrist rests 5. Telephone headsets 6. Keyboards for laptop users 7. Wheeled accoutrements
