ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT EVALUATION Sample Clauses

The Environmental Impact Evaluation clause requires an assessment of how a project or activity may affect the surrounding environment. Typically, this involves conducting studies or submitting reports that analyze potential impacts on air, water, soil, wildlife, and local communities before proceeding with the project. By mandating such evaluations, the clause ensures that environmental risks are identified and addressed early, helping to prevent harm and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT EVALUATION. The Sponsor shall evaluate the potential environmental impact of this project per FAA Order 5050.4B, entitled “National Environmental Policy Act Implementing Instructions for Airport Actions.” Evaluation must include coordination with all resource agencies that have jurisdiction over areas of potential environmental impact and a recommended finding such as categorical exclusion, no significant impact, level of impact and proposed mitigation, etc.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT EVALUATION. Based on the conceptual layouts generated in scoping item B above, Engineer will identify additional work, if any, to be performed and/or considered in subsequent phases. It is likely that expansion of the existing basin will affect habitats and/or require additional field work to more clearly define the overall impacts of the planned improvements.
