Environmental Review Requirements. A. Contractor understands and agrees that it is responsible for environmental review, decision-making, and action under 42 U.S.C. 5304(g), the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) [42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.], and other provisions of law which further the purposes of NEPA, as specified in 24 CFR 58.5. Contractor shall comply with the environmental review procedures set forth in 24 CFR Part 58, the TxCDBG Project Implementation Manual, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws insofar as they apply to the performance of this contract. Contractor must certify that it has complied with the requirements that would apply under the laws and authorities cited in 24 CFR 58.5 and must consider the criteria, standards, policies and regulations of these laws and authorities. In addition, Contractor must comply with the requirements specified in 24 CFR 58.
