EQUIPMENT, ACCIDENTS AND REPORTS. Section 1. The Board shall not require employees to operate any vehicle that is not in safe operating condition or equipped with the safety appliances prescribed by law. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement where employees refuse to operate such equipment unless such refusal is unjustified.

The driver shall notify the Transportation Supervisor if he or she believes the vehicle is unsafe or improperly equipped with safety appliances.
