Common use of Equipment Instructions Clause in Contracts

Equipment Instructions. Grantee must obtain disposition instructions from Grantor when equipment, purchased in whole or in part with Grant Funds, are no longer needed for their original purpose. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained within this Agreement, Grantor may require transfer of any equipment to Grantor or a third party for any reason, including, without limitation, if Grantor terminates the Award or Grantee no longer conducts Award activities. The Grantee shall properly maintain, track, use, store and insure the equipment according to applicable best practices, manufacturer’s guidelines, federal and state laws or rules, and Grantor requirements stated herein.
