Common use of Escort Duty Clause in Contracts

Escort Duty. An employee reporting for work as called in for escort duty shall be paid at the appropriate rate of pay for time worked with a minimum guarantee of three (3) hours pay. Where such escort duty results in the employee being away from the work site for four (4) hours or more, upon presentation of an appropriate receipt, the employee shall be reimbursed up to a maximum of seven dollars ($7.00) for the purchase of a meal. Reasonable transportation costs will be provided by the employer as required.
