Night Duty. Employees who, as part of their regularly scheduled work shift, are required to work any hours between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. shall receive a premium of eight and one-half percent (8.5%) per hour in addition to their straight time hourly base rate of pay for any and all hours worked between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Night Duty. (a) Employees who are not relieved from night duty (and on-call) during the rostered meal break will be granted a meal break of not less than 20 minutes, to be commenced after completing three hours and not more than five hours of duty. Such meal break will be counted as time worked. (b) The arrangement in subclause 50.4(a) may also be adopted in any case where there is mutual agreement between the Employer and Employee.

Night Duty. 108.122. Any shift immediately following a regular day shift or commencing during any period of a day shift shall be considered a night shift, and employees working on such shift shall be paid ten percent (10%) above the regular day shift as set forth herein. A subsequent shift shall be known as a midnight shift and shall be paid fifteen percent (15%) above their regular day rate. The employer shall give at least one (1) weeks’ notice to the employee of the change of shift work. There shall be no shift change made to avoid holiday pay.

Night shift premium shall be paid only for days and hours actually worked, as set forth above, except for statutory holidays and vacation days.
