Evaluation of Ancillary Positions. A. The purpose of evaluation is to provide information that will determine, in the evaluator’s opinion, the employment status of the individual ancillary staff member at a given point in time; to recognize levels of job performance; to identify opportunities for professional growth; and to provide appropriate and specific techniques and/or resources for improvement when necessary. An outcome of evaluation is intended to be a strengthening of the instruction process and the promotion of professional growth through professional development.
