EXAMINATION ENTRIES. Learners will be following a range and wide variety of programmes, with different formal assessment models. In the case of GCSE or other public examinations, the appropriate exams and provision of an Exam Centre will be the responsibility of and organised by the Local Authority/School. If requested, the Provider will (with the assistance of tutors) identify the appropriate Board and examination level and notify the Local Authority/School of its decision. The Local Authority/School will be responsible for: • All examination entries and provision of an appropriate Exam Centre • Ensuring that entries are made for the externally assessed units • Paying for the candidate’s entries; this cost will be built into the costings for a programme • Facilitating transport to exams if appropriate • Providing timely information on results and destination of learner to the Provider

  • Examination You are responsible for promptly examining each statement upon receiving it and reporting any irregularities to us. If you fail to report any irregularities such as forged, altered, unauthorized, unsigned, or otherwise fraudulent items drawn on your account, erroneous payments or transactions, or other discrepancies reflected on your statement within 33 days of the date we sent the statement to you, we will not be responsible for your loss.   • Physical Examination The Employer, at its own expense, shall have the right and be given the opportunity to have a medical doctor appointed by the Employer examine, as often as it may reasonably require, any employee whose injury, sickness, mental or nervous disorder is the basis of claim upon this Plan.

  • Physical Examinations Where the Employer requires an employee to take a physical examination, doctor's fees for such examination shall be paid by the Employer. Except prior to commencement of employment and the first four (4) weeks of employment, such examinations shall be taken during the employee's working hours without loss of pay to the employee.

  • Examination Leave 35.3.1 Examination leave with pay shall be granted for an employee to write an examination for an accredited secondary school, technological institute or university subject, provided the course of study of the employee concerned can reasonably be construed by the Council as likely to increase the employee’s usefulness to the Council and is not an examination for a completely extraneous subject.
