Exception for Concurrent Recruitments. (a) For those recruitments in which the hiring authority and the Human Resources Group reasonably believe that there are an insufficient number of internal candidates (e.g., for entry-level positions; or positions requiring specialized and/or unique skills or experience), the Human Resources Group Manager may approve a concurrent recruitment. In such instances, internal and external candidates shall apply simultaneously.
