Exceptional Merit Cash Payment. 1. The City may grant an Exceptional Merit Cash Payment to any employee at “E” step that meets standards on their most recent Performance Evaluation. It isunderstood and expressly agreed to by the parties to this MOU that any employee receiving a payment under this provision shall not acquire any future rights to receive any future payment beyond that employee’s base wage.
