Where an employee can demonstrate that due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g. weather conditions…) their travel time was in excess of the normal average travel time to a destination they will be compensated for the additional travel time incurred at straight time. b) When an assignment requires departure from the employee‟s employee’s home the night before, or on a regular day off, time spent in travel will be compensated at straight time.
