Firearms. The Resident agrees to comply with University policy which states that firearms are not allowed on University property, and acknowledges that California Penal Code section 626.9 prohibits the possession of firearms on University of California property.
Firearms. The Defendant shall not possess or own any firearm for the duration of this Agreement.
Firearms. A. Carrier will refuse to accept for transportation any firearms and ammunition other than sporting firearms that are not loaded and that are suitably encased. Rifles and shotguns must be packed in either a lockable crush-proof container specifically designed for the firearm, or in its own lockable hard sided case. Handguns must be packed inside a lockable hard sided gun case or in its own lockable hard sided case. Carrier will not accept for transportation any firearms in cases or luggage that cannot be locked.
B. All firearms require a Firearms Unloaded Declaration Tag to be read and signed by the Passenger. The Passenger is solely responsible for clearing the weapon of any live charges.
C. Passengers may check up to ten (10) pounds of ammunition as checked baggage only. Ammunition must be housed separately from a locked firearm. The ammunition must be packaged in the manufacturer’s original container or other fiber, wood or metal box that provides for adequate cartridge separation and is specifically designed to carry ammunition. Under no circumstances may a Passenger carry ammunition on board an aircraft.
D. Passengers under the age of eighteen (18) will not be allowed to check any type of firearm as checked baggage.
E. When checking a weapon, Passengers must declare to a representative of Carrier that a weapon is being checked. If a security checkpoint is located prior to the check-in counter of Carrier, the Passenger must declare the existence of a weapon to security personnel.
Firearms. Only legally owned and permitted firearms shall be allowed on the premises according to State and local laws.
Firearms. When requested by an employee and approved by the Agency, the Agency shall provide the employee with the following:
a) One (1) Agency approved firearm
b) Firearm holster
c) Magazines and magazine holders
d) Duty ammunition
e) Training ammunition for Agency sponsored training
Firearms. Choose whether or not roommates may possess firearms on the property. Step 11 – Address Personal Property 17.
Firearms. No one other than security personnel authorized by the MSDPT may carry, display or use any firearm on the Premises.
Firearms. A. The University shall provide its employees with a semi-automatic firearm. The type of semi-automatic firearm shall be at the University’s discretion. The University will attempt to provide a semi-automatic firearm which is suitable to the employee’s stature and hand size.
B. In order to promote safety in the use of firearms by employee, the University guarantees that each employee is allowed to fire his/her firearm in an approved course at least once every twelve (12) months, at no cost to the employee. Such training shall be for the purpose of qualifying in the use of firearms.
C. The University shall issue new factory ammunition for on-duty use at intervals not to exceed twelve (12) months from the previous date of issue.
Firearms. 58.1.1 The City agrees to furnish all newly-hired officers with a duty firearm upon their date of hire.
58.1.2 Current officers who have purchased their own Glock duty firearms from the City and who qualified with the weapon as a primary duty weapon up through the Winter 1994 qualification shall continue to carry their personally-owned weapons. The Bureau shall be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the personally-owned weapons and for the replacement of the weapons if they are lost or stolen. If an officer who carries their personally-owned weapon changes duty assignment to a position where the carrying of a different model weapon is more suitable to the assignment, the Bureau shall furnish the officer with the different model weapon. Disputes as to which model weapon is suitable to an assignment shall be resolved by the Safety Committee. If the safety committee is unable to decide the matter, the final decision will be left to the Chief of Police or the Chief’s designee.
58.1.3 When an officer whose duty firearm has been purchased by the City retires, the officer shall be allowed the option of purchasing the firearm from the City at the price originally paid for the firearm by the City.
58.1.4 Modification of weapons allowable under Bureau rules (e.g., the addition of night sights or the installation of different magazines) shall be performed by the Bureau; the officer requesting the modification shall be responsible for paying the cost of hardware used in the modification.
58.1.5 Officers shall have an opportunity to purchase additional weapons from the City at the City’s costs pursuant to the terms set forth in the Bureau’s rules.
Firearms. The possession, storing, or use on campus of firearms, ammunition, dry explosives, or incendiary devices that might threaten human life are not permitted.
