When negotiating sessions are scheduled between the Union and the School District or with the state mediator during school hours, two members of the Interpreters' negotiating team will be released from their regular responsibilities for this purpose without any loss of pay.

Exclusive Representative Leave Time. Subd. 1. When negotiating sessions are scheduled between the Union exclusive representative and the School District school district or with the state mediator during school hours, two members of the Interpreters' union’s negotiating team will be released from their regular responsibilities for this purpose without any loss of pay. The remainder of the union’s negotiating team may be released from duty without loss of pay with reimbursement to the district by Local #4242 for the total amount of the cost of substitutes (including FICA) for the additional employees beyond the initial two.
