Employee Representative. The employee may choose someone to represent him or her at any step in the procedure. No person hearing a grievance need recognize more than one representative for any employee at any one time, unless he or she so desires.
Employee Representative. At any step in the grievance procedure, the employee concerned will be represented by the Association or, alternatively, may elect self-representation or representation by legal counsel. In either case, the employee concerned shall be personally present at all stages unless that employee specifically waives the right in writing.
Employee Representative. The Association shall provide written notice to the Department Head indicating which person is designated as the Association's employee representative. Notice shall be provided on July 1 of each year or whenever the employee representative is changed.

Recognition: In accordance with the PELRA, as amended, the School Board recognizes Education Minnesota - Osseo as the exclusive representative of Kidstop Instructors employed by the School Board. The exclusive representative will have those rights and duties as prescribed by the PELRA and as described in this Agreement.

Employee Representative. Section 1. Employees covered by this Agreement are at all times entitled to act through an Association representative in taking any action or following any procedure under this Agreement.
Section 2. Once a bargaining unit member files a grievance, he/she shall not be required to discuss the subject matter of the grievance without the presence of the Association representative, if the employee elects to be represented by the Association.
Employee Representative. Authorized Union representatives may be granted access to work locations in all hospital and health facilities, including areas utilized for patient care, treatment, and general work, in which employees covered hereby are employed, for the purpose of conducting grievance investigations and observing working conditions. Authorized Union representatives desiring such access to such work locations shall first request permission from the appropriate Management representative, at which time the authorized representative shall inform said Management representative of the visit. Said Management representative may deny access to a work location if in the resident’s judgment the resident deems that a visit will unduly interfere with the operations of the department or facility thereof, in which event said Management representative will recommend an alternative time for the visit. The Union shall, within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this Memorandum of Understanding, give to Management a written list of all authorized representatives, which list shall thereafter be kept current by the Union. Access to work locations hereunder will be granted only to representatives on the current list.
