Expansion Term. The term of Tenant’s lease of the Expansion Premises (the “Expansion Term”) shall commence on the Expansion Commencement Date and shall expire coterminously with Tenant’s Lease of the Existing Premises on the Lease Expiration Date, unless sooner terminated as provided in the Lease, as hereby amended.
Expansion Term. The term “Expansion Term” is hereby defined to be and to mean that period of time commencing on the Expansion Commencement Date and expiring contemporaneously on the Extension Expiration Date, as defined in Section 2 above.
Expansion Term. Landlord and Tenant acknowledge that Tenant's lease of the Existing Premises is scheduled to expire on February 6, 2019, pursuant to the terms of the Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Lease, the term of Tenant's lease of the Existing Premises is hereby extended and shall expire coterminously with the term of Tenant's lease of the Expansion Premises on May 31, 2028 (the "Expansion Expiration Date"), unless sooner terminated as provided in the Lease, as hereby amended, provided that in the event 761257.05/WLA 183305-00010/3-9-17/gjn/gjn -2- HCP LS Redwood City, LLC [Third Amendment] [Oncomed Pharmaceuticals, Inc.] Tenant timely exercises the Expansion Termination Right, then the Lease Term with respect to the Existing Premises shall still be extended to and shall expire on May 31, 2028. The period of time commencing on the Expansion Commencement Date and terminating on the Expansion Expiration Date, shall be referred to herein as the "Expansion Term."
Expansion Term. Landlord and Tenant acknowledge that Tenant’s lease of the Existing Premises is scheduled to expire on May 31, 2022, pursuant to the terms of the Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Lease, the term of Tenant’s lease of the Existing Premises is hereby extended and shall expire coterminously with the term of Tenant’s lease of the Expansion Premises on the day that is preceding the eighth (8th) anniversary of the Expansion Commencement Date (the “New Expiration Date”), unless sooner terminated as provided in the Lease, as hereby amended. The period of time commencing on the Expansion Commencement Date and terminating on the New Expiration Date, shall be referred to herein as the “Expansion Term.” For purposes of this Second Amendment, the term “Expansion Year” shall mean each consecutive twelve (12) month period during the Expansion Term; provided, however, that the first (1st) Expansion Year shall commence on the Expansion Commencement Date and end on the last day of the month in which the first anniversary of the Expansion Commencement Date occurs (unless the Expansion Commencement Date is the first (1st) day of a calendar month, in which event the first Expansion Year shall end on the day immediately preceding the first anniversary of the Expansion Commencement Date), and the second and each succeeding Expansion Year shall commence on the first day of the next calendar month; and further provided that the last Expansion Year shall end on the New Expiration Date. At any time during the Expansion Term, Landlord may deliver to Tenant a notice substantially in the form as set forth in Exhibit C attached to the Original Lease, as a confirmation only of the information set forth therein, which Tenant shall execute and return to Landlord pursuant to the terms of the Lease, as amended hereby (subject to correction for factual errors).
Expansion Term. Lessor and Lessee acknowledge that the Lease is currently scheduled to expire on December 31, 2016 (the “Lease Expiration Date”), pursuant to the terms of the Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Lease, the term of Lessee’s lease of the Expansion Premises (the “Expansion Term”) shall commence on the Expansion Commencement Date and shall expire coterminously with the Existing Premises on the Lease Expiration Date. Lessor and Lessee acknowledge and agree that Lessee’s extension right set forth in Section 2(a) of the Lease shall also apply to the Expansion Premises.
Expansion Term. Lessor and Lessee acknowledge that the Lease is currently scheduled to expire on December 31, 2016, pursuant to the terms of the Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Lease, the term of Lessee’s lease of the Additional Expansion Premises shall commence on June

The term for the Expansion Premises shall commence on the Expansion Premises Commencement Date and run coterminously with the Lease Term for the Original Premises, expiring on April 30, 2018 (the “Expansion Premises Expiration Date”). The period from the Expansion Premises Commencement Date to the Expansion Premises Expiration Date shall be known as the “Expansion Term”.
