EXPLANATION TO BIDDERS. Any explanation desired by a bidder regarding the meaning or interpretation of Invitation to Bids, Request for Proposals or Qualifications, drawings, specifications, etc., must be in writing. All questions must be received within seven (7) business days prior to the bid opening date for a response to be generated by the County to all bidders in the form of an addendum. If any statement in the bidding documents, specifications, etc., appears ambiguous to the bidder, the bidder is specifically instructed to make a written request to the Purchasing Department, unless otherwise outlined in the specifications. Any information given to a prospective bidder concerning an Invitation for Bid will be furnished to all prospective bidders, as an addendum to the invitation, if such information is necessary to bidders in submitting bids on the invitation or if the lack of such information would be prejudicial to uninformed bidders. Receipt of the addendum by a bidder must be acknowledged on the bid or by letter received before the date and time specified for the bid opening. ORAL EXPLANATION OR INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BEFORE THE AWARD OF THE CONTRACT WILL NOT BE BINDING.

Any information concerning an Invitation to Bid (ITB) will be furnished to all prospective bidders as an addendum if such information is necessary or if the lack of such information would be prejudicial to uninformed bidders. The written bid documents supersede any verbal or written communication between parties. Addenda are posted on the Purchasing web site: xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. Receipt of addenda should be acknowledged in the bid. It is the bidder’s ultimate responsibility to ensure that they have all applicable addenda prior to bid submittal.

The Agent shall further prior to the commencement of the Auction Sale disclose to the Auctioneer the identity of the Purchaser. 4.7 The Agent shall deposit with the Auctioneer prior to the commencement of the Auction Sale such instrument of authority from the Principal authorizing the Agent to bid at the Auction Sale. The Auctioneer shall have the absolute discretion to determine whether the instrument of authority is acceptable to the Auctioneer to permit the Agent to bid at the Auction Sale. The decision of the Auctioneer in this respect shall be final.

  • E-Bidders intending to authorize any person to execute the Memorandum/Contract of Sale upon successful bidding of the property shall do so by furnishing the following documents to the Auctioneer: a. The person’s NRIC copy (front and back); and b. A copy of the relevant Letter of Authorization.

Within 10 days of the release of the report, either of the disputing Parties may submit a written request to the Panel, a copy of which shall be sent to the other Party, for clarification of any items the Party considers requires further explanation or definition. 2. The Panel shall respond to the request within 10 days following the submission of such request. The clarification of the Panel shall only be a more precise explanation or definition of the original contents of the report, and not an amendment of such report. 3. The filing of this request for clarification will not postpone the effect of the Panel report nor the deadline for compliance of the adopted decision, unless the Panel decides otherwise.
