  • Termination Generally If the Executive’s employment with the Company is terminated for any reason, the Company shall pay or provide to the Executive (or to his authorized representative or estate) (i) any Base Salary earned through the Date of Termination, unpaid expense reimbursements (subject to, and in accordance with, Section 2(c) of this Agreement) and unused vacation that accrued through the Date of Termination on or before the time required by law but in no event more than 30 days after the Executive’s Date of Termination; and (ii) any vested benefits the Executive may have under any employee benefit plan of the Company through the Date of Termination, which vested benefits shall be paid and/or provided in accordance with the terms of such employee benefit plans (collectively, the “Accrued Benefit”).

  • Leave With Pay for Family-Related Responsibilities (a) For the purpose of this clause, family is defined as spouse (or common-law spouse resident with the employee), dependent children (including xxxxxx children and children of legal or common-law spouse), parents (including stepparents or xxxxxx parents), or any relative residing in the employee's household or with whom the employee permanently resides.

  • Experience Pay An employee hired by the Hospital with recent and related experience, may claim at the time of hiring on a form supplied by the Hospital, consideration for such experience. Any such claim shall be accompanied by verification of previously related experience. The Hospital shall then evaluate such experience during the probationary period. Where, in the Hospital’s opinion such experience is relevant, the employee shall be slotted in that step of the wage progression consistent with one (1) year’s service for every one (1) year of related experience in the classification on the completion of the employee’s probationary period. It is understood and agreed that this shall not constitute a violation of the wage schedule of the Collective Agreement.

  • Vacation Scheduling for All Employees A. Vacation leave will be charged in the amount actually used by the employee.

  • Change in Services If Customer wishes to change the scope of the Services, it shall submit details of the requested change to Company in writing.   • Coverage for Members Who Are Hospitalized on Their Effective Date If you are in the hospital on your effective date of coverage, healthcare services related to such hospitalization are covered as long as: (a) you notify us of your hospitalization within forty-eight (48) hours of the effective date, or as soon as is reasonably possible; and (b) covered healthcare services are received in accordance with the terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations of this agreement. As always, benefits paid in such situations are subject to the Coordination of Benefits provisions.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.
