Other Group Benefits. 7.4.4.1. When a retired teacher is employed on a contract by the School Division, who is ineligible for regular group benefits with A.S.E.B.P., the School Division will pay the same premium contribution to the teacher as provided in clause 7.1. 1. Payment will be made upon receipt of actual expense claims, up to the maximum of A.S.E.B.P. rates and in accordance with the applicable terms of the collective agreement. 7.4.4.2. When a teacher continues employment beyond age of seventy (70) and is therefore no longer eligible for regular benefits with A.S.E.B.P., the School Division will pay the same premium 1. Other Group Benefits. 7.3.1 On date of hire or before 15th August of each year, eligible teachers may choose to direct the next school year’s annual amount to the ATA Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) from Capital Estate Planning. If no choice is made by the teacher within the time frame above, contributions will be made to the HSA in clause 7.2. For the purpose of this clause, eligible teacher is defined as a teacher employed under a temporary, interim, probationary or continuous contract during the school year. Contributions to the HSA or RRSP shall be made on a monthly basis from September to June based on the FTE of the teacher on each applicable month.

Upon request of the teacher, the School Division will deduct and remit monthly RRSP contributions to The Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) Group RRSP through Capital Estate Planning. 7.3.2. It is agreed that the Employment Insurance (E.I.) rebate is being shared according to Section 64(4) of The Employment Insurance Act by the benefits contained in this Agreement.
