Other Group Benefits. 7.4.1 Payments towards benefit plans by the Employer shall permit it to retain and not pass on to teachers, any rebates of premiums otherwise required under Canada Employment and Immigration Commission (previously Unemployment Insurance Commission) regulations.
Other Group Benefits. 7.4.1. Employment Insurance Premium Reduction: Payments made towards benefit plans by the School Division shall permit it to retain and not pass on to teachers, any rebates of premiums otherwise required under Employment Insurance Premium Reduction Regulations.
Other Group Benefits. 7.4.1 In consideration of the improvements to the employee benefit plan and sick leave benefits, the employees covered by this collective agreement waive any claims on rebates under the provisions of the Employment Insurance Act.
Other Group Benefits. 7.4.1. The School Division and the Association agree that the Employment Insurance Premium Reduction has been shared, in accordance with the provisions of Section 69 of the Employment Insurance Act, through application of the employee share of the savings to offset the cost of other benefits contained in this agreement.

Other Group Benefits. 7.3.1 Where a teacher employed on a contract by the School Division is ineligible for regular group benefits with the ASEBP due to their age, the School Division agrees to pay the same premium contributions to the teacher as provided in article 7.
7.3.2 It is understood that payment of premiums of the aforementioned benefit plans shall permit the School Division to retain and not pass on to teachers any rebate or premiums otherwise required under Employment Insurance Regulations.
Other Group Benefits. 7.4.1 The Board and the Association agree that the Employment Insurance Premium Reduction has been shared, in accordance with the provisions of Section 69 of the Employment Insurance Act, through application of the employee share of the savings to offset the cost of other benefits contained in this agreement.
Other Group Benefits. 7.4.4.1. When a retired teacher is employed on a contract by the School Division, who is ineligible for regular group benefits with A.S.E.B.P., the School Division will pay the same premium contribution to the teacher as provided in clause 7.1.
1. Payment will be made upon receipt of actual expense claims, up to the maximum of A.S.E.B.P. rates and in accordance with the applicable terms of the collective agreement.
7.4.4.2. When a teacher continues employment beyond age of seventy (70) and is therefore no longer eligible for regular benefits with A.S.E.B.P., the School Division will pay the same premium

Other Group Benefits. 7.3.1 On date of hire or before 15th August of each year, eligible teachers may choose to direct the next school year’s annual amount to the ATA Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) from Capital Estate Planning. If no choice is made by the teacher within the time frame above, contributions will be made to the HSA in clause 7.2. For the purpose of this clause, eligible teacher is defined as a teacher employed under a temporary, interim, probationary or continuous contract during the school year. Contributions to the HSA or RRSP shall be made on a monthly basis from September to June based on the FTE of the teacher on each applicable month.
Other Group Benefits. 7.3.1. Upon request of the teacher, the School Division will deduct and remit monthly RRSP contributions to The Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) Group RRSP through Capital Estate Planning.
7.3.2. It is agreed that the Employment Insurance (E.I.) rebate is being shared according to Section 64(4) of The Employment Insurance Act by the benefits contained in this Agreement.
