Extended Active Duty during National/Regional Emergency. a. District employees who are reserve members of the armed forces or National Guard, shall be granted benefits as stated below provided the following conditions are met: 1. The appropriate federal or state authority has declared a national or regional emergency. 2. The employee called to active duty provides a copy of his/her official orders for active duty. 3. The period of active duty exceeds seventeen (17) days.
