Common use of Extended Benefits Clause in Contracts

Extended Benefits. A nurse who becomes totally disabled before age 70 shall be eligible for the extended benefit provisions of the life insurance policy until age 70. Nurses who were disabled prior to July 1, 1983 and who have continuously received benefits shall continue to receive such benefits under the terms of the policy in effect prior to July 1, 1983.
