Common use of Extension and Renewal Clause in Contracts

Extension and Renewal. The Loan may, in the sole and absolute discretion of Lender, be renewed or extended beyond the Maturity Date by notice given by Lender to Borrower. Any such renewal or extension shall be upon the terms and subject to the conditions stated in such notice. In the absence of such extension or renewal, the obligations of Lender hereunder with respect to the Loan shall terminate on the Maturity Date.
