Extra Services of Consultant. When authorized in advance by means of a written City change authorization, pursuant to the amendment provision of this Contract contained in Paragraph 8(A), shall be paid for by City, as provided Paragraph 4 (B), for each project in Attachment A. If, in the opinion of City, the scope of the extra services significantly changes the terms of this Contract, City has the right to publicly advertise and negotiate for those services without terminating this Contract.

Extra Services of Consultant. Extra Services are hereby defined as any services other than the services described on EXHIBIT A, “Scope of Services,” of this Agreement, which are authorized by the Water Superintendent and performed by CONSULTANT. Prior to performing Extra Services, CONSULTANT shall submit a written request for Extra Services and obtain the written approval of the Water Superintendent. The request for extra services shall at a minimum include a description of the services to be performed, the reason why the Extra Services are needed or required, a schedule of completion of the proposed Extra Services, and a not-to-exceed amount for the performance of the proposed Extra Services. Payment for Extra Services will not be made unless the Services are approved by the Water Superintendent in writing with a not-to exceed amount prior to the Extra Services being performed.   • Subrecipient’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Subrecipient shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Subrecipient’s efforts in fulfilling Subrecipient’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Subrecipient’s Project Manager, in consultation and agreement with County, shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Subrecipient’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project Manager shall notify the Subrecipient in writing of such action. The Subrecipient shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Subrecipient’s Project Manager.   • Duties of Consultant The Consultant agrees that it will generally provide the following specified consulting services through its officers and employees during the term specified in Section 1, above.
