FACULTY COUNCIL. (a) There shall be a Faculty Council for each of the Faculties of the University (see Article 1.1(f)) composed of all the Faculty members employed in that Faculty or in the case of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research all full-time faculty members. The Xxxx of the Faculty shall be chairperson and have a vote. (b) The functions of the Faculty Council shall be to consider all matters of general academic interest to that Faculty and specifically to consider, amend and formally approve additions or amendments to the academic programs of the Faculty, prior to their being considered by the appropriate academic bodies of the University. (c) The Faculty Council shall meet at least once a Semester. (d) Each Faculty Council shall draw up a constitution governing its operation, which prior to promulgation thereof shall be subject to approval of the full Board of Governors of the University.

FACULTY COUNCIL. A. In each building there shall be a Faculty Council (“FC”) comprised of unit members, Association building representatives, administration, and staff selected by administration. FC members shall be solicited as volunteers. B. The purpose of the FC is to xxxxxx communication among staff and administration, and provide collaboration on building initiatives, school improvement and related activities. Any item of concern to the building staff shall be discussed at these meetings without reprisal. C. The FC shall meet on a monthly basis or as needed. D. Administration will promptly communicate to relevant staff the outcomes and decisions resulting from FC meetings.

FACULTY COUNCIL. 7.2.1 Faculty Council Purpose A Faculty Council (FC or Council) shall be established in each school of the District to facilitate communication between the faculty and the school site administration. The FC shall be the site faculty decision-making team. Purposes of the FC are: 7.2.1.1 To provide a means for the faculty to make suggestions and recommendations for improvements related to the operation of the school, to both the Principal/Site Leader and the school site leadership groups and to discuss any items of common concern. 7.2.1.2 To provide an opportunity for the school site leadership groups and Principal/Site Leader to present concerns in order to receive reactions and recommendations from the faculty. 7.2.1.3 To discuss site-based reform proposals proposed by school site leadership groups, administration or bargaining unit member(s) regarding the delivery of instruction. To bring a proposal which would significantly impact the content and delivery of instruction before the entire faculty for thorough discussion and approval.
FACULTY COUNCIL. The faculty council will meet once each semester to discuss options for the calendar to be recommended to the Board.

FACULTY COUNCIL. All Members, whether or not they are currently teaching, shall be voting members of Faculty Council, except in the case of votes for those representative positions on Senate or the Board of Governors already designated for regular faculty and for those positions on committees under the collective agreement of the regular faculty members.
FACULTY COUNCIL. The Faculty Council is a working group whose purpose is to implement the School Improvement Plan, support the operation of the school, and serve in an advisory capacity to the school principal. As a function of this purpose, the Faculty Council will determine the use of release time on the Early Release Choice Days designated by the District Master Calendar.
