Reopeners. 1. Negotiations may be reopened by mutual agreement on any part of this contract.
2. Written notice shall be given by the Association to commence reopener negotiations during each fiscal year of this Agreement no earlier than March 1st of the prior year. However, the District may commence reopener negotiations after September 1stof each fiscal year of this Agreement if the Association has not commenced reopener negotiations on or before August 31st. Each party shall be afforded the following number of articles to reopen:
A. 2019-2020: No reopeners, full successor negotiations completed B. 2020-2021: Two reopeners, plus Articles 22 and 24 C. 2021-2022: Three reopeners, plus Articles 22and 24
Reopeners. In each year of this agreement either party may initiate a reopener on salary, benefits plus two items and any additional mutually agreed to items.
Reopeners. For the duration of the contract each fiscal year the contract is subject to reopeners. In each of these years, the salary schedule and the District’s contributions towards health benefits premiums, one article each party designates, and other mutually agreed upon issues will be reopened. In addition, the Parties agree that longevity pay, catastrophic leave bank, review of language for clarification purposes and compressed calendar shall be automatically reopened for 2016-2017.
Reopeners. With the exception of years when the entire Agreement is open for negotiation, either party may reopen negotiation on Article 6 (Pay and Allowances), Article 7 (Insurance) and one additional article of either party’s choice.
Reopeners. This agreement may be reopened and modified at any time during its term upon mutual consent of the District and the Association.
Reopeners a. Regarding health care benefits during the term of this contract, if any State or Federal legislation is enacted which provides any changes in the benefits available to members of the bargaining unit or to the employer under this contract negotiations will be reopened on all provisions related to such benefits except for the percentage of premium paid by the Board and the employees.
Reopeners. 1.3.1.1 By mutual agreement of the parties, negotiations may take place at any time on any article within this Agreement.
1.3.1.2 During a multiple year Agreement, either party shall have the right to reopen this Agreement each academic year regarding the academic calendar, the articles concerning salaries, fringe benefits and two (2) other articles, by submitting written proposals to the other party by October 15 of each academic year, or, if such date falls upon a weekend or scheduled holiday, by the next instructional day.
Reopeners. This Agreement shall be reopened twice during its term for the purpose of renegotiation for the school year 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. During the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years, only Articles Six, Seven, and Appendix A-1, plus two (2) additional articles, each at the individual option of the respective parties, shall be reopened.
Reopeners. The parties may reopen negotiations on the Compensation (Article 9) and Health Benefits (Article 11) and two additional Articles only for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 fiscal years.
Reopeners. Notice for intention to reopen negotiations for the above purpose of reopeners shall be given no later than April 15 of the preceding fiscal year. Upon notification, the parties shall begin negotiations thereon by May 15 of said preceding fiscal year. Except for years in which the contract expires, contract re-openers shall be limited to compensation and two articles of each parties choosing.
