Common use of Faculty Emeritus Clause in Contracts

Faculty Emeritus. After an application for emeritus status has been received by the College, and upon recommendation of the faculty and the President, the Board of Trustees may award the title Faculty Emeritus to any full-time, tenured Faculty member who has officially retired from the college under any of the retirement options open to faculty. Emeritus faculty may be hired as part-time employees with the college without affecting their emeritus status. Faculty Emeritus will be accorded the following privileges as applied to the use of college resources such as:
