Failure to Submit Reports in a Timely Fashion. Should the Contractor fail to provide to the Authority any of the reports required by Articles IV and V of this Contract by the specified submittal date, except where the Contractor has obtained written permission from the Authority to delay or omit a particular report(s), liquidated damages may be assessed to the Contractor, at the option of the Contracting Officer, in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day, per report, for each day the report(s) are late.
