FAIR DISMISSAL OF TEACHER. The Board and Association agree to the mutual benefit of a Fair Dismissal procedure for experienced teachers. This provision balances the relative security earned through an extended and successful probationary period with employer expectations of continued quality professional performance.
FAIR DISMISSAL OF TEACHER. Upon recommendation of the superintendent the board of education may dismiss any teacher at any time for violation of contract, immorality, flagrant neglect of duty, or if a teacher’s certificate expires or is cancelled. Any teacher who is to be discharged from service in the schools may ask for and receive a hearing with the board of education relative to his/her discharge.
