An Extended. Occasional Teacher who works on the regular school days on both sides of a Professional Activity Day and attends the scheduled activities of the day shall be paid his/her regular pay for the Professional Activity Day, which shall be included for the purposes of the ten (10) required days in Article 49.1.8.

An Extended. Occasional Teacher shall be paid the same salary as a regular Teacher with the same qualifications, category placement and experience retroactive to the first day of the teaching assignment.

An Extended. Term Temporary is used for individuals hired for a term specific project that is known at the outset to be of greater than twelve (12) months duration. Examples discussed include new capital projects and other initiatives with estimated end dates, or where there is a need to hire an individual to provide a specific service for a term that goes beyond the existing “temporary Employee” category twelve (12) month time frame. “Extended Term Temporary” positions are not positions required for an indefinite period of time, and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. If the originally anticipated term date needs to be altered, it would be through consultation and concurrence of the parties. Payment for the work is at the rate commensurate with the position assigned. Collective Agreement provisions relating to permanency after twelve (12) or eighteen (18) months are not applicable to Extended Term Temporary Employees.
An Extended. Professional Development Leave for less than 6 months, paid at 100% of her regular salary as it existed on the date the leave commences. Such a leave may begin on either July 1st or January 1st.
An Extended. Parental Leave may be granted to a non-tenured teacher under unusual circumstances by action of the Board, subject to all the conditions applicable to a tenured teacher. The granting of Extended Parental Leave to any non-tenured teacher shall not constitute a precedent for the granting or withholding of leave to any other non- tenured teacher. Each request shall be judged on its own merits and shall be within the sole discretion of the Board. Additional conditions or restrictions may be established for any such leave, provided nothing herein shall be construed as requiring any non-tenured teacher to apply for such leave or accept the conditions established therefore.
An Extended. Parental Leave without pay, up to a maximum of 52 weeks, shall be given to a Librarian Member with a Part-time Continuing Appointment who has been employed by the University for at least 12 months immediately preceding the commencement of a Parental Leave. An Extended Parental Leave shall commence within 36 weeks of the commencement of a Parental Leave. The Member shall give written notice of the Extended Parental Leave to the University Librarian normally at least three (3) months prior to the commencement of the Extended Parental Leave. At least three (3) months prior to the intended date of return, the Member shall notify the University Librarian of the date of their intended return.

An Extended. Use Agreement (as defined in the Operating Partnership Agreement) within the meaning of Code Section 42(h)(6) is or shall be in effect and recorded in the appropriate land evidence records with respect to the building(s) not later than the end of the taxable year in which any credit is taken with respect to any building. If not in effect as of the date hereof, the Operating General Partner agrees to deliver a valid and binding Extended Use Agreement and evidence that it has been recorded no later than the end of the first taxable year in which any Tax Credit is taken with regarding to any building.
