Family/Parental Leave. a) Upon the birth of the employee’s child, or in order to make final arrangements to adopt a child, or to place a child in xxxxxx care with the employee, an employee, upon verbal request, shall be granted one (1) day of leave without loss of pay. Upon return to duty, the employee must submit the appropriate leave request form.
