Common use of FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS Clause in Contracts

FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS. The GOVERNMENTAL BODY warrants that in the performance of this Agreement it shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, statutes and ordinances and all lawful orders, rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. Since laws, regulations, directives, etc. may be modified from time-to-time, the GOVERNMENTAL BODY shall be responsible for compliance as modifications are implemented. The GOVERNMENTAL BODY’S failure to comply shall constitute a material breach of this contract.
