Where there is Federal-Aid in the right of way, inclusive of utility costs, the Federal Utility Procedures (FUP) Approval is Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) authorization for TxDOT to assume total oversight of the utility adjustment process. Necessary information for the FUP approval shall include the utility name(s), location(s) of existing facilities by station number and estimated cost of adjustment(s) by utility.
