Field Trips for Probationary and Substitute Drivers. Probationary drivers and substitutes are not eligible to sign for field trips. However, if no regular driver is interested or available, the supervisor may offer the field trip to an available probationary driver. If no probationary driver is available, the supervisor may offer the field trip to a substitute.
