Common use of Filing a Grievance Clause in Contracts

Filing a Grievance. Grievances may be filed by the Union on behalf of an employee or on behalf of a group of employees. All grievances must be submitted to Human Resource Services. The grievance will state the name of the employee or the names of the group of employees. The Union, as exclusive representative, is considered the only representative of the employee in grievance matters and has the right in a grievance to designate the person who will represent the employee on behalf of the Union.
