Grievance Definition. A grievance is an allegation by an employee or a group of employees that there has been a violation, misapplication, or misinterpretation of this Agreement, which occurred during the term of this Agreement. The term “grievant” as used in this Article includes the term “grievants.”
Grievance Definition. A grievance will mean an allegation by a teacher resulting in a dispute or disagreement between the teacher and the School Board as to the interpretation or application of the terms and conditions of employment insofar as such matters are contained in this Agreement.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, a matter of artistic judgement or discretion shall not be made the subject matter of a grievance and it is not arbitrable.
