Common use of Final Payment Certificate Clause in Contracts

Final Payment Certificate. Prior to the compilation of the final payment certificate the engineer shall ensure that all items on the Client’s checklist are complied with. The signed off checklist shall be submitted with the final payment certificate. The engineer shall only compile and submit the final payment certificate once the Final Approval Certificate has been issued by the Client and all unfulfilled financial obligations have been resolved.
