Meet generally accepted standards of fiscal management which shall include complying with all applicable provisions of the Public School Finance Code, the Procurement Code, and the Audit Act; paying debts as they fall due or in the usual course of business; complying with all federal requirements related to federally funded programs and awards; refraining from gross incompetence or systematic and egregious mismanagement of the School’s finances or financial records; and preparing and fairly presenting its financial statements in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America, which include the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls relevant to the preparation and fair presentation of financial statements that are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. ii.
