Common use of First Aid Training Clause in Contracts

First Aid Training. (a) Where, in accordance with the requirements of the applicable legislation, the Corporation selects an employee to take first-aid training, the Corporation will assume the cost of that training and shall grant to that employee time off without loss of regular pay for the purposes of attending such training. (b) Attendance at such training after completion of his normal daily shift, shall be compensated for in accordance with Clause 36.02.
