Common use of Fixed Term Deposit Clause in Contracts

Fixed Term Deposit. Accounts are designed to be held to maturity. Requests to break a Fixed Term Deposit Account before maturity may be considered and be decided upon by us at our discretion, and will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances or in the event of your death (or, in the case of joint Accounts, the death of one of you). Any breakage will be carried out in line with our breakage policy, which is available from your Private Banker or on request.
