Common use of FLOAT ORIENTATION Clause in Contracts

FLOAT ORIENTATION. The Union acknowledges the right of the Employer to direct the working force as referred to in Article 3 (Management Rights) and that it may be necessary to float or move nursing personnel for temporary replacement for Facility requirements. The Employer shall identify all work areas that have fluctuations in work load that may require Employee(s) to be floated in or out of the area. The Employer shall advise the Locals and Employees of the areas which may require floating.
